Water Testing

Clean water is not something you should have to guess about. Whether your home is on a municipal system or a private well, Environmental Risk MD provides lab-certified water testing that gives you a clear, documented answer — not a guess.

Private wells are not regulated the same way public water systems are. If you're on a well, testing is the only way to know what's actually in your water. Public water is treated at the source, but contamination can still occur between the treatment plant and your tap, particularly in older homes with aging plumbing.

What we test for

  • Public and private well systems
  • Bacteria (total coliform and E. coli)
  • Nitrates and nitrites
  • Heavy metals, including lead, as requested
  • Additional parameters available on request for specific real estate or health concerns

What you get

Every water test is processed through an accredited laboratory and returned with a clear, written report — not a raw data dump. If you're buying, selling, or refinancing a property, our documentation is formatted for lenders, buyers, and closing timelines.

Why work with us

Environmental Risk MD performs independent testing only. We have no remediation arm and no incentive to find a problem that isn't there. Licensed (MHIC #163315), NACHI IAC2 Certified, and built for transactions that can't wait.
